I learned A LOT this year. Here are just a couple of things:<\/p>\n
1.Trust your gut! When your gut tells you to get off the bench, GO! You never know what you could be missing out on.<\/p>\n
2.Keep your expectations in check.<\/p>\n
3.Loving your child doesn\u2019t mean catering to their every want. They NEED discipline!!! You aren\u2019t being mean, you\u2019re being the parent. I\u2019ve heard my fair share of \u201cI don\u2019t like you Momma\u201d this year. I learned that I\u2019m ok with that. Landon doesn\u2019t always have to like me. I\u2019m his mom not his friend.<\/p>\n
4.Apparently I snore. Who knew?!? Rob says I sound like a moose. Breathe Right\u2019s Snore Spray seems to help.<\/p>\n
5.I like lamb chops. I\u2019ll take two next time;)<\/p>\n
6.Good food costs more but it really is worth it. I don\u2019t stop at gas stations that sell crappy fuel so why not make an effort to put quality fuel in your body?<\/p>\n
7.A couple means two. ALWAYS!<\/p>\n
8.Men are simple. This isn\u2019t meant as an insult (seriously). You can\u2019t read too much into anything a man does or doesn\u2019t do, or anything they say or don\u2019t say. If you do your feelings will be hurt A LOT.<\/p>\n
9.If you are cooking good food at home, restaurants start losing their appeal.<\/p>\n
10.Growing your own herbs is awesome! It saves you a ton of money and makes your food so yummy!<\/p>\n
11.There is a proper way (\u201cthe granddaddy way\u201d) to roll up a hose.<\/p>\n
12.I do like root beer. In fact, I love it! If you haven\u2019t tried Virgil\u2019s you are missing out!<\/p>\n
13.You can\u2019t predict what a kid will like.<\/p>\n
14.You can cut your finger (and have to get stitches) from a butter knife.<\/p>\n
15.Recycling is easy and everyone should do it!!!<\/p>\n
